Getting Closer

Ok, forgive me for my multiple posts in one day. I am making up for lost time, plus we got some of the cutest pictures with Bella and Addie-bug. While having tummy time, Addison decided to take a break and cuddle in next to Bella, who was helping with tummy time. :)

Bella, though, had other ideas as to what would be comfortable on the rug. aka-Addison's backside seemed the perfect spot/fit to place her head.

So comfortable, in fact, that Miss Bella fell asleep! Addison couldn't quite figure out what was weighing her down...

Buddies

Bella is just amazing with Addison. Addison is starting to become interested in this furry brown thing that always seems to be around. Now that Addison reaches out to grab things, Bella isn't safe. BUT, Bella loves the attention. She also loves to give kisses (which we try to keep to a minimum) but it seems Bella has a new favorite treat. The oh so sweet drool that is coming out of Addison's mouth 24 hours a day. When Bella puts her cold nose up to Addison's face, Addison just coos and laughs. We try not to let Bella lick the drool, but we're not always quick enough. They're going to be crawling buddies soon! Then Bella really better watch out!

Daddy Time

Brian used to get quite a bit of "Daddy Down Time" when Addison was smaller. She would always nap on his chest for literally hours at a time. Now that she's a little bigger and sleeps a lot less (scared she'll miss something interesting, I guess) Brian doesn't get his "DDT" with her as much, even though he tries. When he does try it, DDT goes a little something like this....


"Silly Daddy, I'm not sleeping..."






"What's in here?"



"Excuse me, Mommy. Can't you see we're playing?"

"Ok, but only ONE kiss...."

Sweet Potatoes....or not

So, Addison has been doing great when we introduce solids to her. She's eating a couple of tablespoons each evening just to get her used to eating "big girl food." After 3 days of cereal and applesauce, we introduced sweet potatoes because her cousin Donovan loves sweet potatoes. Addison had other thoughts about this "sweet" food...

Really, another bite? I don't think I'm gonna like it...

Nope! Still not good!
FYI: The second night we didn't make so many "eewww" faces.
